Okay, so “It’s Halftime In America!”

I started to make this post early on Monday (after a really dull Super Bowl XLVI on Sunday) and attempt to tie it into how the “It’s Halftime In America” Chrysler commercial with Clint Eastwood’s stern delivery, somehow tied into building your network marketing business, but why taint the message with anything outside of what it really intended to be? This was the ChryslerLOGO1 300x200 Its Halftime In America! (Dirty Harry Said So!)driving question that was quickly amplified by how the “anti-anything-good fringe of political slime-slingers” took issue with the halftime Super Bowl ad and spun it into something that it was never intended to be while proving the message of distracting division during the comeback with great credibility. (I have included an alternate opinion to what the slime-slingers are saying written by Ray Wert on why Only An Idiot Would Think Chrysler’s Clint Eastwood Ad Was… if you wanna check it out.) Taking a day to examine how “It’s Halftime In America” created such a reaction was educational, but also disturbing to see how many factions were attempting to pimp the message of recovery for their own selfish means. (A’ la Marketing 101)

It’s Halftime In America!

I’m from Detroit, born and raised, witnessed the best days, was front row to it’s downfall and its very possible receivership situation. I have been affected by the dynamic shifts in the job market and economy of Detroit personally and through countless family and friends who are still hurting, but believing in a city that was once great. (Dirty Harry Said So!)but because they stayed loyal to Detroit, Detroit remained loyal to Chrysler and both are turning around for the better. This isn’t about politics or network marketing, no matter how many parallels we can pull from the commercial and word-proof into a compelling few words… This is only about Hope, Change, Making a Real Comeback and yes, Selling Cars! “I AM DETROIT” and it’s good to see Clint Eastwood (who is VERY active in creating jobs in Detroit) tossing his hat in the ring to help bring my hometown back. In my life, the lives of the City of Detroit and the majority of Americans, there has been no halftime in America because halftime would have been considered a break… Even though our economical issues have been improving, Detroit and America is working through halftime!!!
